So we leave in 2 days and there is a lot to get done before we go. We have so many errands to run and luckily we both have today off. Today will be devoted to running around to different stores picking up stuff we need—like fun snacks and whatnot.
Also, my mom’s friend Loren who lives near Chicago is planning to fly out and meet us in Wyoming and drive with us to her house. She wanted to see Mount Rushmore and we’d love the extra company. I’m very excited—and I’m sure my mom is too—to have Loren joining us. Maybe it’ll stop us from killing each other, haha.
Yesterday we started to spruce up my car: took it to the car wash; vacuumed all inside; and cleaned the headlights. We want it to be spick and span so we can get it dirty on our trip. And right now, my mom is figuring out how to repair a tear in the seat of my car. We’re really going the extra mile on this one.
But I’m glad that my car will be taken care of when I’m off by myself at school. Hopefully it won’t give me too many problems now because we’ve taken such good care of it.
